Launching content & social media marketing at Fremont Bank

Leads, following, traffic: All up in year 1

Challenge: Fremont Bank was missing valuable opportunities to increase brand awareness, capture leads and drive revenue by not using content or social media marketing.

Approach: I built a content and social media function by:

  • Designing scalable systems and processes that are repeatable and easy to follow.

  • Designing roles for multiple levels of experience that encourage growth and career progression.

  • Sourcing agencies and contractors to provide specialist skills that we did not have in-house.

  • Establishing a budget and channel attribution strategy.

Results: In the first year the Bank’s social media following grew by >50%. We saw triple-digit increases in website traffic, and double-digit engagement and click through rates. My team produced the highest performing content in the Bank’s history and won 8 awards.
